In this work I fused acrylic, oil pastel and graphite with splashes of spray paint to capture raw emotion. My abstract expressionism invites introspection, where layers of color and texture represent inner energy and resilience in the face of hardship. Each brushstroke is a dance between strength and vulnerability, bringing a living dynamic to any space.
Creation process: A layer of structural medium is applied to the canvas which gives texture and relief. Then the color is applied in successive layers with brushes, spatulas, hands, etc. until the painting reveals itself.
Colors: a variation of blues - red - orange red - gold - magenta - gray and white
UV protection varnish is applied
